I forgot to mention that, our neighbor across the street adopted one of the two female puppies (the other 6 were males). It's so great because we get to see her (Celesta) quite often. We have had her over our house to play with Blake, Ginger and Rocco. We all love her very much and she is so much fun to hug just like our other dogs.

A few things about Blake; he runs like a goofball, he is very lazy when eats (lying down with head in his dog bowl), he is extremely sloppy (slobbering all over the place) and recently we had to tell him to stop licking the door knob. Well, we have to go for now. Another update will be coming soon.

Backgraound Information

Welcome to The Rottweiler Family. This is where Rocco (Dad), Ginger (Mom) and Blake Eliot (Son) reside in Phoenix, Arizona lving a wonderful life.

Rocco is half Rotttweiler and half American Bull Dog. He has a rust colored coat that feels like crushed velvet and golden brown eyes that match his coat. He is one handsome dude!

Ginger and Blake Eliot have the traditional black & tan coats, thick and cuddly. Ginger's eyes are deep amber brown and Blake Eliot has rich chocolate brown eyes.

Ginger had a litter of 8 puppies on December 1, 2009. Each pup was adopted 4 to 5 months later; all except for Blake Eliot. Oh, the reason Blake has a middle name is because he is so special as being the only pup in the family. Eliot was my mother's maiden name and she was a very special lady who absolutely loved dogs.

Blake being the puppy that he is at nearly 9 months old (Wow, what a crazy ride raising him has been!) is quite playful, full of energy and very rambunctious. Blake vigoriously engages Ginger and Rocco as they are his favorite playmates. Ginger and Rocco love Blake ever so much and show it by wrestling with him and nuzzling his ears. They all like to nibble and tug on eachother's joules, run, jump around and play tackle football (the football being a green squeaky toy shaped like an octopus). They also love to play "keep away", where one tries to prevent the other from stealing the "toy of choice". This often results in much growling, howling and barking at one another all in name of crazy fun. Tune in tomorow for latest adventures of The Rottweiler Family.
